I spent years tracking down this album on vinyl. It's one of my favorites of all time. One day I was in an Urban Outfitters flipping through their vinyl and came across this repressing. Needless to say, I flipped the eff out and bough it immediately. I had all but given up on finding an affordable copy. The packaging and wax is beautiful. Sound is pretty solid and I think as good as you can truly get with this album. It's a notoriously low volume, low bass recording. So, the perfect pressing is pretty much non-existent. I recommend this one on two things alone: colored LP's and the fact that it's a double LP pressing. P.S. - Glad I got this when I did. Seems to have gone up in price quickly.

I also had the exact same experience, and this particular UO was having a half off vinyl sale. When I added it to my discogs, I could not believe the price of this pressing. it's gorgeous looking and sounding, too.

Literally the exact same story as me. Whatta a fantastic cop.

Great record but damn... what an awful pressing. Sound is really bad. If you are a fan from De La Soul - buy it because it's awesome coloured vinyl and it has great artwork. But don't buy it if you want to listen to it much. The sound is on low volume and the high tones are just simply not there (if you know what I mean). That makes it a very disappointing release.
