From must-have LPs to highlights from the rest of the bands massive catalog, we detail Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, and the rests output over the decades. The ultimate live document of Grateful Dead v1. 0, and candidate for the best live rock album ever, is this double LP made during the distended Aoxomoxoa sessions. It has the definitive reading of Dark Star, the holy grail of Dead set lists, along with The Eleven, a head-spinning Phil Lesh composition in 118 time. I have copy with the 10-04-1970 on one record and stuff (Dark Star etc.) from Felt Forum 12/05/1971 on another. Bootlegs of bootlegs, I suppose. Before cassette trading.

Overall sound quality is pretty good for a bootleg. Phil's bass is really high in the mix but I kind of like it that way. Short album but really fun and lively. China Cat Sunflower actually starts off Side B though it's not listed on the cover. Enjoy!
